Rates will vary according to the level of edit needed (proofread, copyedit, or Beta Read), the complexity of the subject matter, the size of the project, and/or turnaround time. I use a per-word price, e.g. 250 words x $0.008 = $2.00. I will do a free proofread of 3-5 pages and give you an estimate of the cost and expected timeframe for your project.
